Prior to the sale of my practices to Visionary Partners in December 2016, I owned and managed two large practices in Las Vegas for 15 years. My goal was to decrease the day-to-day responsibilities of managing practices.
My biggest challenges involved managing, training, hiring, and terminating employees. Visionary Partners has been able to hire and terminate staff and move them between offices as needed. Additionally, they have provided comprehensive staff training and executed systems that improve the patient experience. Their system changes have improved all practice metrics. For example, there has been an increase in photo capture rates, daily schedules are 90%+ filled, and our capture rate for glasses and contacts has increased.
